چکیده
Hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte disorder in patients with cancer and associated significant morbidity mortality. Innovation therapies has led to substantial improvement outcomes, but also new therapy-related toxicities, including disturbance. Improvement clinicians understanding of hyponatremia may mitigate adverse outcomes improve quality life patients. In this case-illustrated review, we discuss mechanisms underlying drug-induced both “classical” antineoplastic drugs novel therapies. Via these clinical cases, describe caused by conventional chemotherapies (e.g. platinum compounds, vinca alkaloid, alkylating agents) as well related tyrosine kinase inhibitors other targeted We focus on checkpoint inhibitors-induced hyponatremia, agents are increasingly used for a wide variety malignancies. Lastly, summarize among recipients newer treatments multiple myeloma.

متن کاملA case of SSRI-induced hyponatremia.
Hyponatremia complicates 1% of hospital admissions and can be associated with serious central nervous system effects. We report a case of a 38year-old woman with hyponatremia resulting in seizures and coma. Medications are one of many causes of hyponatremia. This case emphasizes the need to consider selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) as a potential source of hyponatremia in all age...
